Celebrating its 14th glorious year, this festival is the perfect place for thrifters, creatives, and fun-loving folks to come together and imagine a more sustainable world.

We’re looking for amazing volunteers who share our values and a sense of fun. Whether you’re a thrifter, grafter, DIY enthusiast, or someone who just loves to help, we need you!

This year you have the option of volunteering before and after the Festival, or during the weekend itself.

What will you be doing?

Your tasks could include:

  • Site Dressing: Help make Kirkleatham look even more beautiful!

  • Moving and Shaking: Help with site logistics, including moving furniture and setting up for events

  • Welcoming visitors: Greet festival-goers and make sure they have a fantastic experience

  • Signposting: Guide visitors to performances, workshops, events and chill out areas across the site.

  • Supporting Performers: Assist event managers before, during, and after performances.

  • Accessibility Assistance: Help all visitors enjoy the festival comfortably.

  • Workshop Support: Aid artists with workshop preparation and help participants during sessions

What skills are we looking for?

  • Enthusiasm and a smile.

  • A can-do attitude.

  • Responsibility and reliability.

  • A sense of fun.

  • This role may require a lot of walking around the site. If you need assistance with mobility please let us know and we can find a role that suits you.
