Middlesbrough Art Week is back for its 6th edition and takes place across Middlesbrough from Thursday 28th September to Saturday 7th October
Formerly known as the Weekender, MAW now extends to a full week of exhibitions, talks, workshops, performances, events and exciting public interventions.

As a volunteer, you'll play a vital role in creating a vibrant atmosphere and ensuring that attendees have a fantastic time. Whether you're a seasoned event volunteer or new to the scene, we welcome all to be a part of our dedicated team.

We're Looking for good communication from friendly, approachable individuals who can assist attendees, answer their queries and help deliver the festival across the week - collaborative spirits who thrive in a dynamic environment!
Volunteer Shifts:
Shift timings are flexible, and you can choose what works best for you. Whether you're available for a few hours or the entire event, we appreciate your dedication.

Once you have signed up to be part of Tees Valley Festivals Volunteering you will receive training in Customer Service and Health & Safety. There will be opportunities for further training in Inclusivity & Accessibility, Working with Children, Digital Capture, Content Creation and Social Media, and Sound and Technical Production. You can also get involved in some exciting creative community art and music workshops which will be running across the Tees Valley. And you can earn, and take part in, the RSA's wonderful new Badge Nation Award Programme.
