Wintertide Floating Support Volunteer

Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th November 11am - 9pm, including support for the finale event 5.50pm - 7pm

Wintertide takes over Hartlepool's Historical Headland with three days of artistic programming that surprises and delights, transforming spaces and places, encouraging people to see the everyday in a different way.

Volunteers like you are at the heart of everything we do. Join us today and together we'll make Wintertide 2023 a festival to remember!

What will you be doing?

Covering support as needed during the event. Supporting the Art Trail. Covering breaks on welcome and information points, workshops and artists support. Welcoming, guiding and supporting visitors. Signposting and communicating information about the festival site and programme. Collecting information, feedback and stories for future events.

What skills are we looking for?

Enthusiasm and a smile. Responsibility and reliability. A can do attitude. Good communication skills. If you have any accessibility requirements please let us know and we will be happy to tailor the volunteering opportunity to suit you..

Once you have signed up to be part of Tees Valley Festivals Volunteering you will receive training in Customer Service and Health & Safety. There will be opportunities for further training in Inclusivity & Accessibility, Working with Children, Digital Capture, Content Creation and Social Media, and Sound and Technical Production. You can also get involved in some exciting creative community art and music workshops which will be running across the Tees Valley. And you can earn, and take part in, the RSA's wonderful new Badge Nation Award Programme.
