Diwali, also known as Deepavali, is a Hindu festival that signifies the victory of light over darkness and good over evil, and it holds a special place in the hearts of millions around the world. Diwali is a time for families to come together, exchange gifts, share delicious sweets, and create beautiful rangoli designs. No matter where we are in the world, we can celebrate light and goodness.
Customer Experience Volunteer
We’re on the hunt for reliable, friendly volunteers with good communication skills. You’ll be helping people find out more information about our Diwali festival, you'll advise attendees on programme offer, site details, and assist with any other queries that attendees may have. You will also encourage feedback from festival attendees.

- No previous experience necessary

Once you have signed up to be part of Tees Valley Festivals Volunteering you will receive training in Customer Service and Health & Safety. There will be opportunities for further training in Inclusivity & Accessibility, Working with Children, Digital Capture, Content Creation and Social Media, and Sound and Technical Production. You can also get involved in some exciting creative community art and music workshops which will be running across the Tees Valley. And you can earn, and take part in, the RSA's wonderful new Badge Nation Award Programme.
