Saltburn Folk Festival, Albion Terrace, Saltburn-by-the-Sea TS12 1JW, 9th - 11th August 2024, 8am -11pm.

Saltburn Folk Festival is set over the weekend in beautiful Saltburn-by-the-Sea. It's a town-based festival with song, dance, music and stories to engage and interest everyone.

What will you be doing?

  • Helping to set up and clear venues before and after events.
  • Welcoming audience members, checking wristbands and passes, selling tickets and providing venue information.
  • Giving support to audience members, particularly people with access needs.
  • Assisting performers and technical staff.

We can pay your travel expenses, and you'll receive a meal or a meal voucher when you volunteer for a full day or evening shift.

Once you have signed up to be part of Tees Valley Festivals Volunteering you will receive training in Customer Service and Health & Safety. There will be opportunities for further training in Inclusivity & Accessibility, Working with Children, Digital Capture, Content Creation and Social Media, and Sound and Technical Production. You can get involved in some exciting creative community art and music workshops which will be running across the Tees Valley. You'll also be able to take part in and earn badges with the RSAs exciting Badge Nation Programme.
