Taste of Africa builds relationships within the African community, shares success stories, makes an impact, and influences social change. We celebrate individuals and communities, embrace art, dance, food, fashion and music, and produce exciting events designed to inspire and engage.
We are looking for people who want to be part of this wonderful community and who are excited to get involved!

- Welcoming visitors
- Assisting artists and performers with the parade
- Helping the event run smoothly

You can claim back your travel expenses (within Teesside) and we will provide food or a food voucher up to £10 for each shift you work.
Once you've signed up to be part of Tees Valley Festivals Volunteering you will receive training in Customer Service, Health & Safety, Inclusivity & Accessibility and Carbon Literacy. You can get involved in some exciting creative community art and music workshops which will be running across the Tees Valley. You'll also be able to take part in and earn badges with the RSAs exciting Badge Nation Programme.
